Voices of Experience: Insights on Smart Grid Customer Engagement

A Smart Grid implementation guideline based on shared knowledge and experience

In 2011 the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability, conducted a series of Smart Grid Peer-to-Peer Workshops in collaboration with utilities.
 
The workshops focused on experience and information exchange on customer engagement and the changing nature of the utility-customer relationship. Based on those workshops, a Smart Grid implementation guideline for customer engagement was published.
